Wow we have been spoilt by the weather it was nice to have a little taste of spring. I have been wearing the scarf I DIYed loads it seems to go with everything but I have not had a chance to put it in an outfit post yet so here it is.

Bird on a Budget

I love sourcing things sometimes I wish I had a huge disposable income and that I could buy everything I wanted but sadly I haven't and where would the fun be in that. I love looking at designer images and then sourcing my own version of it from the High Street or ebay. I love this little fringe bag it is from ASOS check it out here and it was only a tenner it was the long fringing that caught my eye.

Work, Work, Work

I have been working really hard the last couple of weeks that is why my posts have been a bit flaky. I got this dress the other day it is so easy to wear and I love it teamed with touches of tan. The boots are a new purchase check them out here they reminded me of the Isabel Marant Dicker boots but with a cheaper price point.

Fringe on Fringe

Last week I got a message from the gorgeous Melissa of Princess and the Pea saying that there was the most amazing fringed kimono that had just arrived on the Topshop website I could'nt believe my eyes when I saw it straight into my basket it went and I was checking out. A few hours later it had literally sold out. Anyway when it arrived it was even more beautiful than the picture on the website it is by far my most favourite item of clothing that I own ever.

I decided to team it with more fringing oh and feathers :) what the heck but this is going to be awesome in the summer thrown over everything.

Spent Out

I have had so much fun this month buying things. I have been on ebay buying Levis to turn into shorts this pair being one of them. Then I decided that I really wanted that dip dyed fringe necklace and of course Topshop had sold out ages ago but hey yep I found one on ebay. The silver ring was a little treat on a lunch time shopping spree opps along with a huge turquoise pendant both from Toppers.

My outfit was inspired from Inside my Head and my Wardobe check her out she has gorgeous style and an amazing wardrobe of fabulous Topshop pieces could not help poaching her shawl idea I have had this one for ages.

Yet Another DIY

I am attaching feathers to everything I found this gorgeous printed scarf by Therapy check it out here I attached feathers to two corners to give it a bit more interest and to channel Roberto Cavalli's AW11 collection I am pleased to see that the Boho look with lots of fringing and feathers is still going to be strong in AW11

Summer Nights

I won this suede jacket on ebay last week. It is going to be great when the weather gets warmer but I could'nt wait till then so I decided to team it with my maxi dress shame I still have to wear tights. The best thing about these pictures is that I took them at 6pm which means the nights are getting lighter whoop whoop.

Transitional

I have been wearing snoods or circle scarves with summer dresses as it stops them from looking out of place in the colder weather and keeps me warm. This dress is another one of my lastest H&M purchases it will look super cute in the summer over a bikini but at the moment it is having to been teamed with tights and fur.

I was asked yesterday about the dress it is from H&M and I brought it from my local store I checked online and they do not stock it.

Bloggers Day of Silence

We have all been shocked by the horrific scenes coming from Japan and the situation seems to be getting worse everyday with new threats of radiation and now snow storms.

Friday 18th March is Bloggers Day of Silence I will be taking part to show my respect for the people of Japan check out the details here if you too want to take part.

If like me you have wanted to make a donation and did not know where to donate go to ShelterBox they were one of THE first organizations asked by Japan to help and were on hand on the Saturday after the quake. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.

Summer Inspiration

I picked up a copy of the Spring H&M mag the other day and there are some real inspiring boho looks. I want the crochet shorts, agate necklace and the fringe top. I am wearing the crochet dress also from the mag more pics tomorrow of the outfit.

Hanging Around in H&M

I have been hanging around in H&M all week sadly my local Topshop has moved to a smaller premises while they refurbish which means less stock and by the looks of things even less deliveries of new stock so I had to find a new lunch time hang out.

I have found some amazing things. The black knitted vest is my fav I also brought it in a pretty coral colour and at the bargain price of £7.99 who could blame me. The hat is also from H&M as well as the friendship bracelet. I also brought a pretty crochet dress I find I prefer H&M's SS collection to there AW collection what do you guys think?

Copy Cat

I loves these rings from Spell check them out for yourselves here. They sell out pretty quick so I decided to have a go and make one myself. I found an old crystal stone got some jewellery wire from Hobby Craft found a leaf from an old necklace hoped for the best and manged to produce this. Not to bad for a first attempt.

Cobwebs

Another one of my shredding projects and an ebay purchase I have been looking for a longer length leopard print shirt to wear open and I found this one ideally I want to wear if with cut offs but I decided to team it with my pleather trousers today.

You have all probably heard by now that Kate Moss walked for Louis Vuitton and finished the show smoking I bet she will get some bad press over this especially as today is no smoking day here in the UK but I also bet she won't care.

After seeing the black and white coats on the Burberry and Topshop Unique runways I quickly started searching the web for my version of this trend I liked the idea of black and white fur but wanted it to suit my style I found this amazing shaggy jacket on Boo Hoo check it out here the one thing I will say about the jacket is the arms come up quite small apart from that it is perfect.

I was asked about how the palm cuff fits and does it slip off the answer is simply no it is shaped to sit in the grove of the palm.

Budget smudge it oh I wish

Of course I could not wait to wear my new boots and the colour is perfect for spring it is still soooooo cold and that means clever layering is needed. This dress which I brought last year and was last seen here is perfect layered with a cosy chunky knit. New Boots

My boots arrived today I love coming home from work to parcels. I brought these bad boys from the Aldo sale check them out here. They have a bit of a Acne Admire feel about them and the nearest I am going to get to a pair on my tiny little clothing budget :(( . Another item off my wish list.

Palm Cuff

My palm cuff arrived from my post here. It is more comfortable than I thought it would be and I like it teamed with the slave bracelet draws more attention to it.

I have been buying so many things online and from ebay over the past few days the poor postman I am sure you will get to see them all over the next week. I am slowly working my way through my spring/summer must haves :)))

I do love a bit of black

I brought this leather harness last year and I have hardly worn it the question is how the hell do you wear a leather body harness without looking like you work in the sex industry the answer over a jumper it stops it looking S&M and tones it down. I was gonna put a slick of black lippie on but then decided that was a little too much.
