So it is New Years Eve and like the biggest party of the whole year. I am working tomorrow so it is a quiet one for me, that wont stop me from putting on a party dress and saying hi to 2013. I feel very excited for the year ahead. I have not given any thought to my New Year resolutions yet. Have you guys got any???

New In: Boots

Shoes/boots make an outfit, there are so many fabulous pairs out there at the moment, with Topshop totally leading the way. These boots are my latest purchase, I have wanted the Zara ones for ages and snapped them up when they went 50% off in their sale. The Topshop pair are amazing and so worth the money, I love all the hardwear on them.

My mum gave me the Kate Moss book for Christmas, if like me you are a big fan of Miss Moss then you should invest, there is a really great interview at the beginning of the book and the images are freaking amazing.

Taste of my Christmas

One thing I love about Christmas, is decorating the house. I had Christmas Eve off work, I spent some of the day adding those finishing touches as I was hosting Christmas day, my mum cooked, my brother paid and I hosted, reckon I got the better end of the deal. I had my nephews over , I set up a kiddy place setting at the table for them, which they loved. 

I had a fabulous day and got some amazing presents, as well as loads of dollars for my holiday to California next year. My nanna is coming over today and bonus I have got today off work too (so rare working in retail) so it will be a second Christmas day. Anyone hit the Zara sale? I did, I got these boots here, I have wanted them for ages.  

Christmas Eve

Hi my lovelies, so excited for Christmas it is totally my most fave time of the year. I popped out for dinner with my brother and mum this evening and rocked my sequin pants. I freaking love them, they are my favourite item in my wardrobe at the moment. Slightly gutted that we got a wet and windy Christmas and not a white one but on the plus side the world did not end ha ha. I have spent Christmas Eve looking after (my nearly 13) nephew, he is so easy to look after he slept all morning and then when he woke up I fed him junk food, then I made him watch the Muppet Christmas Carol. 

I spent the morning getting the house already for Christmas. I love making it all Christmasy.

De Frisco Regalia

When I was contacted by the lovely Marya from De Frisco Regalia to review her jewellery, I totally jumped at the chance. She is a very talented jewellery designer based in San Francisco with a very unique style. I picked the ring out here, I was totally drawn to the the tiny claws and statement smoky quartz pyramid. I asked Marya to pick the other pieces for me (I like a surprise) she got my style spot on and I am totally in love with the necklace, it is such a conversation starter. The quality of the jewellery is amazing and it all arrived in cute little boxes. Anyways be sure to check her jewellery out here.

Thought I would share some images with you from my first AX Paris blog post. I picked this dress as I was drawn to the stud detail, I knew it would be a real versatile piece. It is easily dressed up or down and we all need a LBD in our closet. 

Cant believe that Christmas is just around the corner, I love the build up and have been busy doing the usual Christmas things. Work is mega hectic as much as the hours are long and customers can be a bit well moody, I love working in retail this time of year, I always feel like I am in the heart of Christmas.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Yesterday was such a festive day.  I put the trees up with Christmas music blaring out and then in the evening I drove up to London with more Christmas music playing (I just love Christmas music). First stop Harrods, it looks so pretty all lit up. A cheeky visit to Zara in Knightsbridge (sadly no shopping), then onto Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, totally worth a visit if you are in London ( the best tube station  to get is to Hyde Park Corner), as you first walk in you are surrounded by stalls, there was loads of guys selling some fabulous jewellery, I picked up a stunning turquoise ring ( I had to stop myself buying loads). After a roam around we left and headed to Carnaby Street, I wanted to check out the Rolling Stones lights, we hung out there for a while had a hot chocolate in Pret (to warm ourselves up) and then headed home. It was sooooo cold making it feel even more festive and this morning I have woken up to snow, hello Christmas.

Sequin Pants Yay or Nay???

I am not normally a fan of sequins but when the party season kicks in I crave them. This year I am loving sequin pants. There seems to be a lot out there at the moment and they seem to work for daytime too, when dressed down like Jessica Hart. How awesome are those Free People ones in the first pic and I am totally loving how they styled them. I have a pair coming and I am going to use these images as inspiration on how to style them up.
