How rad are these images from the latest photo shoot from Lenni I have been a big fan of the Australian online store for ages now. They stock the most amazing hand picked vintage items, fabulous customise denim and one of pieces, The new collection is to die for. I have my eye on the Woody Star dress here. ( the dress is the last pic), it will be perfect for my trip to Santa Monica, I just need pay day to hurry up.

So who is enjoying this white out, that we have been experiencing here in the UK. The snow makes everything look so magical and pretty. I have been keeping warm in oversized fur coats and hats in many forms. I was so stoked to get my hands on this elephant embroidered cap, (thanks to a friend) Constant searches on Ebay and Etsy had proved unsuccessful, I was soooo grateful when he said he had got one for me from Thailand.

I am counting the days down to pay day, there is still over a week to go. I need to get my Visa to visit the states and a suitcase next month. The days cant go quick enough.

The Native State

 

Let me introduce you to "The Native State". A fabulous UK based website stocking some of my fave brands. I have been having some problems with oversea websites including Free People, I totally feel like my shopping the past month has been jinxed. So I am grateful to websites like this. I have brought a few pieces from them and Frankie the owner of the website is such a doll, the service she offers is spot on, and delivery is super quick., she totally puts her heart and soul into it.

I was pretty stoked to hear that she will be stocking Sugarhigh + Lovestoned.  There tees are to die for and they have amazing kick arse velvet bells. There latest campaign "Live by the Sun Love by the Moon" blew me away.

My latest purchase is this beaut of a hat by Lovely bird, I have had my eye on it for ages and when the 30% off everything on the website was extended for a week, I snapped it up.

Oxblood

Leopard print and oxblood work so well together (not the first time I have said this).  This beanie from ASOS seemed like the perfect finishing touch to update my very old but very faithful Topshop leopard print coat. I have had the bag ages now, it is a copy of the Alexander Wang Rocco bag, one day I will own the real thing. 

Moon

 

Lunar Cycle Picture Here

New year new ink, I want to get another tattoo done in February, I am using the moon as inspiration, something I have always been fascinated with, from  a little girl watching Christmas films and seeing Father Christmas and his sleigh flying across the moon, drawing Halloween pictures at school with a large full moon with a witch on her broomstick flying across it. I love the way the light from a full moon feels my bedroom, I often find myself staring at the moon I find it so calming and soothing. My iPhone is full of pictures I have taken of it. So it just feels right.

The idea I have is based on the Evil Twin moon ring I brought, it has the cycle of the moon engraved on it. I am going to have this inked on the inside of my elbow in a crescent shape.

My Work Space

I thought I would share my work space with you guys. I treated myself to a Macbook Air a couple of months back, I wanted something that would be easy and light to travel with and I can use Face Time when I am away. I have had this pack of tarot cards since 1994 they are one of my prize processions, the geode was a present from my dad a few years ago and have a small collection of some of my fave books on my desk. I am hopefully going to visit New York next year so I am reading the Rough Guide to New York City. I love Diptyque candals you really cant beat them and they always smell divine.

Carolina K

 I am so useless with saving money, I am meant to be saving for my holiday but instead I keep spending, this totally has to be my final purchase otherwise I am going to be so pissed when I get to California and have no shopping money.

Anyway dolls for all of you who have not heard of Carolina K, here is a little sample of her AW12 collection, amazing isn't it? I treated myself to the the cute fur trimmed vest in the first pic (oops). Carolina Kleinman is a very talented Argentinian fashion designer, she gets her inspiration from her travels to Latin America, India and other fabulous places. Check her out here.

Novella Royale Bells

I am so stoked that I caved and ordered these Novella Royale bells, they are so freaking awesome, I totally recommend them.  If you have wanted to get them and been in too minds get them, I know you wont regret it, the only thing I will say is that the fabric is really delicate so be careful with your jewellery.

I scored mine from Free People and with there new UK based website, I did not have to pay custom charges and there is free delivery with a £75+ order (bonus). They came pretty quick too.

My new year so far has been pretty quiet, I have a few days off now so I am enjoying doing nothing. I am really looking forward to my holiday (May cant come quick enough). It is hard not shopping tho, I need to start saving, I intend to do some serious shopping while I am in Santa Monica.
