Headdress how 2

Photobucket

A few of you was asking how I made the headdress I wore a few posts back. My diy's tend to be a spur of the moment thing so I did not take any pics but they are pretty easy to make.

You need three pieces of chain and something for the middle or you can just use a jump ring check out ebay. I found an old necklace that had a nice detail that I knew would work perfectly for the middle something like this would work here or this here too or you could add a pendant to jump ring. Then I just attached the chain using jump rings two at the side then one in the middle I kept on adjusting the chain until I had the right drape at the side see pretty simple.

  11. I totally made a headpiece yesterday!! i think broken necklaces are the key. Perhaps this is just me, but when people ask me where an item is from, I feel kinda bad replying with "i made it" because then they can't get it. Thats probably really silly of me though. Now all I want to do is make more super elaborate ones!
