Hey dolls I wore this yesterday the kimono is my only sale purchase so far it seems a little pointless buying loads of summer clothes in the sale seeing as most of what I have brought so far for summer has not been worn or has been worn teamed with tights and heavy jackets due to the crappy weather. As soon as I saw this I had to have it, it is a make designed by House of Fraser called Label Lab check it out here the label has a bit of an All Saints vibe about it I always find one little treasure a season I love there accessories too and they are reasonably priced and always go into sale with at least 50% off. The kimono I am wearing was £65.00 I got it including staff discount for a bargain £24.00.

When Jovonna London contacted me to pick a piece from there website I was stoked esp when I saw this beaut of a skirt the peacock feather print is stunning and the studded leather corset belt which is actually attached to the skirt gaves it that rock chick edge. I could not wait to wear it and wore it out the other night I teamed it with a cropped sequin top but today I decided to team it with a plain black vest I am on the hunt for a black studded bralet to go with it. It is such a versatile skirt it also looks super cute teamed with flat gladiators. I love pieces that can be dressed up or down and this is one of them.

Finally the weather has changed for the better and I am off work so I am going to go and enjoy it xoxo

Dressing down

Jeans DIY, Jumper H&M, High Tops ebay

Having a little bit of a dressing down day. These jeans are a little DIY I did a while ago the dye I used was actually red so I was a bit surprised when they turned out pink I was going for the Isabel Marant look and wanted red tie dyed jeans. I teamed them with my high tops these are like never off my feet I love them. The weather is till pretty pants and I have given up on summer with AW12 hitting the stores I think I will be turning my attention to that instead now. 

Nighthawks

I finally scored myself a pair of the infamous Nighthawk boots from Office here they sold out super quick at the start of this year so when I saw they were back in stock I did not want to miss out I was stoked when I popped up to the Office concession where I work and they had them in stock I snapped them up straight away and got my staff discount on them too bonus. They are so easy to wear and go with everything I totally recommend them. 

I am totally embracing my black maxi dress it is such a versatile piece and it is so easy to layer cant believe I have never owned one before.

 Minnetonka knee high moccasins love them or hate I love them and I am super stoked that I managed to score myself a pair on ebay for £23 esp as they retail for £120 these are are in really good condition only worn once. They are also fab for this weird summer weather we are having as they are perfect teamed with shorts and still keep you warm. I am after a black pair now. I am also rocking for the first time my DIY shorts they turned out pretty cool.

I picked this maxi dress from the AX Paris website can you believe that I do not own a basic black maxi dress this one is great quality for the price the fabric is a heavy jersey so it hangs perfectly I decided to style it simply today and added accessories to break up all that black. I love this shell necklace it really works well on a black background and gives a fab little something special to an outfit. I am still growing out my fringe I will probably grow it out and have it cut back in I know what I am like.

I feel like I am in hibernation the excitement of the summer has been washed away by all this rain and sadly I am not a true Brit where I can carry on regardless in the rain it just makes me run and hide away. I have been doing all my shopping online I cant even be bothered to hit the shops on my lunch break I totally fear all that wind and rain I am also not overly interested in buying summer clothes I have been buying loads of jewellery so I thought I would share it with you guys esp as I cant be bothered to stand out in the drizzle and do an outfit post.

I have been looking for upper finger/knuckle rings for ages and I found these amazing ones from Raspberry Grape they are super cheap and adjustable so they dont feel like they are going to fall off totally recommend them xoxo

I scored this top from The Lace and Tweed Vintage Fare that was held in my local town thanks to the lovely Lereese from The Girl Who Stole Vintage she tweeted about how lovely my home town was I tweeted back asking her what she was doing there and she tweeted back saying she had a stall and let me know where it was luckily I was working and popped there on my lunch break it was great to meet a fellow blogger I did not have a clue about the fare so I was totally grateful for her tweet. Anyway I have wanted one of these 70's sequin butterfly tops for ages I have seen some on ebay and Etsy and they are always a little more than I would like to pay I got got this one for £24.00 from a lovely stall holder who has an online shop called Violet Rose Vintage

Ombre Nails

I have been experimenting a bit with my nails I am so bad at painting nails but these effects turned out OK it is totally easy to do just paint your nails in your chosen colour and with a sponge dab on a contrasting colour add a layer of top coat and you are good to go.

High Tops go with freaking everything it would of been easy to team them with a pair of cut offs but I wanted to try something different so I dragged out my All Saints skirt this is one of my fav pieces in my wardrobe and for the price I need to get my money's worth. Sorry for the same top but just because we blog about what we are wearing doesn't mean that we don't wear it more than once. I also cant stop wearing these two necklaces I have had them for years and now I am like hey I like those two necklaces thrown together.
