I told you about this top here. I thought I would wear it dressed down with some denim cut offs and coz I was loving all the sparkle I decided to team it with my glitter boots maybe a bit of a sparkle overload. My fringe is still at the awkward length and I am still clipping it back and also training it to fall in a center parting to anyone thinking about cutting a fringe seriously think about when you come to growing it out it is a freaking nightmare.

The store has been buzzing this pass week with AW12 deliveries I love seeing all the new season stock some of the customers are a bit baffled by all the heavy knits and winter coats but I am loving being surrounded by it and the colour palette for the season is amazing I have got a few pieces of uniform and a damson leather pencil skirt is one of them it is stunning cant wait to wear it.

Thought I would share a haul post with you I haven't done one in a while and I have a few new pieces. I have had my eye on these Stefanel patchwork jeans for ages and when they went down to £56.00 from £140 in the sale I snapped them up I also got 20% staff discount :). The printed tee is from Label Lab. I totally could not resist the Topshop Arson boots they are freaking amazing and I got many compliments on them when I stepped out in them the other day they are also super comfy and fit true to size totally recommend them. Last of all is the camo jacket that I told you guys about in my last post.

I am spotting a little micro trend for camo print I have been trawling the internet for some camo pieces and came across these. I lost my camo jacket a couple of years ago at festival and have been desperate to replace it. Ebay has a few on offer at the moment (type F2 army jacket in the search) I was super stoked that I manged to score one the other night for a bargain £13.50 including P&P super cheap compared to the Urban Outfitter ones which are selling for £48 and I am loving the sweater and for £30 this will defo be a new addition to my wardrobe 

Not just a one hit wonder

This is about as girly as I get I love this dress I got it a couple of years ago from Toppers it is quite sheer so I layered a pair of lace trim shorts under it I love the little flash of lace and it also means I dont have to be paranoid if it gets a bit breezy. Pretty much everything I am wearing is old I love buying things that are not just a one hit wonder and with my budget I cant afford to buy things and wear them only once. I also dont think that there is anything wrong with wearing something more than once and if you are clever with your styling it will always look different and feel like new.

I am up and out early today the sun is shinning, it is going to be hot hot hot and I am off work so I am going to make the most of it. This is what I am wearing and my bikini is in my bag :)). I am also baby sitting my nephew so it should be fun. I customized these shorts myself I had to stop myself getting too carried away with the cheese grater otherwise they would of ended up being indecent. This is the first time I have finally had a chance to wear them

I have self tanned there has been some bad press about all the chemicals in self tanners gez it seems that we cant do anything without risking our health I say you only live once and it still must be better than sun beds.

Laid back

I am not a big  fan of the "jumper dress" but this one had so much to offer I loved the cut out detail on the shoulder and the knit and colour combo the knit is super delicate I have to be careful what jewellery I wear with it. I decided to play it down and just team it with high tops. High tops pretty much go with anything and dress everything down in such a cool laid back way. I was checking out Stefanels AW12 collection the other day I really love their stuff they have got an amazing colour palette for Fall lots of fern greens and plum tones. Also super stoked that summer has finally arrived in the UK not sure for how long all I know is that I have the next two days off and it is gonna be sunny.

I think red and leopard print were totally made for each other I nearly teamed black boots with this but the red kinda popped. I am also stoked to see this shade of red popping up in AW12 deliveries at work I am so going to get a few pieces and it also works well with black always a winner for me teamed with gorgeous red lips. Talking about red for fall how awesome are these Topshop boots here neeeeedd!!! Cant believe I am thinking about fall already I am hoping for a glorious August think we deserve one dont you one final fling with Summer. California Dreaming

I woke up today to sunshine it feels good so I am so going to make the most of it esp as it was my day off. I am so in love with the whole Californian style I love how those dolls over there dress and find most of my inspiration comes from Californian bloggers and luckily there are loads out there to read. I think to really feel the vibe you need the sun to shine I find the guys here in the UK seem so much more relaxed when the sun shines and I think that is why most Brits are so up tight and I should know working in retail people are so freaking moody but as soon as the sun shines everyone has a different outlook and they actually smile.

After finding out that cut offs are OK in this weather I have been sticking two fingers up to the rain and rocking them. I have had this simple black jacket for a couple of months now and have worn it to death but it has never featured in an outfit post so here it is worn with my Kooples vest I love this vest best thing ever. I have always steered clear of yellow thinking it was not a great colour with blonde hair I have been proved wrong. I am loving these boots Office are now stocking them in red here and white here need them all I would really love to order the Chloe ones but hey they are totally out of my budget.

I am looking more than a little pissed off in these pics not sure why lol thanks for all the comments about my fringe it looks freaking awful in these pics just wish it would get out of that awkward length.

I have discovered that with the right layers you can wear cut offs in this weather it is still July after all and skin is waterproof so yesterday I decided to wear shorts I have worn these Kilim boots loads since receiving them mainly with skinny jeans I have been dying to wear them with cut offs so today I thought stuff the weather and wore them they are soooo cute and super comfortable and are made for bare legs.

I am still trying to grow out my fringe it is taking so long and is at that awkward stage and I am really trying not to clip it back I am undecided about a center parting or side sweep.

I do love a bit of snake print so when I saw these snake print skinny jeans on the AX Paris website I knew I had to have them and with the sun still AWOL they are the perfect cover up but still feel light enough for July. The weather is still a total write off and to be honest I have pretty much given up on it I spent most of last week getting wet which in the end I had to laugh about esp on Friday when my local town gridlocked due to a big down pour and I decided to walk getting soaked to the skin it was warm too so it actually felt quite liberating even tho I did look like a total freak.

How are you guys dressing for this freak weather and are any of you thinking 2012 might be a reality scary

Yellow Mellow

I came home from work this evening and the sun was shinning such a rare occurrence at the moment so I made the most of the light and did a quick outfit post. I am finding this weather so challenging getting dressed wise I am living in my parka and this fur vest which was perfect for today the beanie has also been a trusted friend as it stops my hair blowing all over the place with those gale like winds we have also been experiencing. I popped into Toppers on my lunch break today and the new stock hitting the stores is amazing also had a quick snoop around Urban Outfitters so many bargains.

Kilim Boots

I have had my eye on Kilim Boots for ages and then Topshop announced that they were stocking the Kiboots exclusively in there Oxford Circus store see the blog post here I knew I needed a pair after tweeting a fellow fashion loving Tweeter I found out that there was a Moroccan restaurant near her that stocked said boots she was kind enough to get me a pair and send them to me I am over the moon as they are so amazing and the pattern on the boots are so cute.

Abbey Watkins for The Kooples

I am not a massive sale shopper but like everyone I love a bargain. I have had my eye on this Abbey Watkins for Kooples vest for ages so I was super stoked when I had a little nose around the department store where I work and found it had gone 50% off in the sale. I love Abbey Watkins drawings and I have been a big fan of her blog Tobacco and Leather for like forever she has also started selling her illustrations here. I love that I now own a piece of her fabulous drawings and can wear it bonus. I am sure it will feature in an outfit post very soon.
